How To Set Up Your White Labelled Platform

To meet the demand for a white-labelled version of the FreightExchange (FE) platform, users can customise the FreightExchange functionalities to appear as their own branded platform. This includes using a customer-specific URL and incorporating their customer's logo and color scheme across the platform.

Additionally, users can manage multiple sub-accounts under their main account, enhancing the ability to maintain brand consistency while utilising FE's robust features. This setup allows for a seamless integration of FE's capabilities with the user's brand identity.

Pre-requisites

1. Choose a URL on your own domain that is in a FQDN (fully qualified domain name) format, such as freight.yourdomain.com and it must be a URL that you actually own

2. Ensure you have a wildcard certificate enabled for your domain and all of your subdomains

DNS configuration

  • Log in to your DNS provider, such as GoDaddy, Namecheap or Route53

  • Create a new subdomain (eg freight.yourdomain.com)

  • Create a new CNAME record for your new subdomain (eg freight.yourdomain.com)

  • Point the CNAME to your unique FreightExchange URL eg uniquename.freightexchange.com.au

  • Once complete, accessing both domains should redirect automatically to the new URL  (eg freight.yourdomain.com)

If you need to troubleshoot your certificate settings, you can email your certificate to [email protected] and we will ensure that it is loaded and securing your site correctly.
