TNT (FedEx) – Connect Your Account

If you have an existing account and rates with TNT (FedEx), you can easily bring your own accounts across to FreightExchange to receive quotes, print labels and book and track shipments along side our other broker carriers. 


The following details are required to connect your account:

Account NumberAccount Number provided by TNT
PrefixThe first 3 characters of connote numbers for this account, found on all labels, tracking or invoices.
Sender CodeFreightExchange will update
Label CodeFreightExchange will update


Part 1: Get your Account Details & Rate Card

Account Details

1. Navigate to the Fedex portal > My Accounts
2. Use the dropdown to find your account number. Select it and click Search to confirm the account details.
3. Get the first 3 characters for connote numbers for this account, found on all labels, tracking or invoices.
4. Enter your Account Number into FreightExchange and save

Rate Card

1. In the Fedex portal > Pricing > Rate Cards

2. Complete the Online Rate Card Request

3. Forward Rate Cards to ops@freightexchange.com for assistance loading to FreightExchange

Part 3: Test Everything

Once you have completed the setup, perform test bookings to confirm your configuration is correct. To do this:

  • Run sample quotes and check that the rates returned by the system are correct.
  • Review the generated labels and have them signed off by your account manager.
  • Confirm with your account manager that the test bookings were received as expected in their system.

This validation helps ensure your setup is working correctly before processing live bookings.
