The following information includes the shipping restrictions and requirements for various carriers.
TNT
- TNT Tech Express uses tailgate trucks, thus, freight must be on pallet/crates
- TNT does not transport engines/gearboxes/transmissions, unless coming directly from the manufacturer.
- TNT also does not transport E-Cigarettes and Vaping Products
- TNT requires drums, spools, reels, bare metals, or tyres need to be palletised
- TNT does not deliver to PO boxes.
HI-TRANS
- Hi-Trans is a pallet carrier and is unable to assist with loose cartons.
- Hi-Trans no longer moves used equipment (engines/generators) that has storage for fuel/oil
- Hi-Trans does not collect or pick up from residential premises
- Hi-Trans does not deliver to PO boxes
NORTHLINE
- Northline needs ALL engines placed into crates
- Northline does not deliver to PO boxes
STARTRACK
- Startrack does not collect more than fifteen (15) loose cartons unless palletised. This also applies to bulk collection from the same address
- Loose boxes/cartons weighing 28 kgs or more are still subject to the carrier's confirmation if they are acceptable in the network
- Startrack can deliver to PO boxes under their Premium Service only
- StarTrack premium cannot be placed on ATL. Freight will be
HUNTER EXPRESS
- Hunter Express no longer accepts motor parts due to the operational and safety risks associated. This includes car bonnets, engines, transmissions, car bonnets, doors, bull bars, bumpers, nudge bars, windscreens, rear windows, wheels, and tyres
- Motor accessories that are new, in a cardboard box, and can be lifted by hand may be accepted if suitable packed
- Hunter Express does not deliver to PO boxes
- Unless delivery address is a business, consignment should be noted and toggled to residential.
FOLLOWMONT
- Anything over ten (10) loose cartons need to be palletised
- Followmont does not deliver to PO boxes.
CRL
- CRL is a pallet carrier and is unable to assist with loose cartons
- CRL does not collect or pick up from residential premises
- Considers farms as residentials.
- Can transport gearboxes provided:
- there is no oil in each gearbox
- they are securely strapped at least 3 x times across the width and breath of the pallet so that there is no movement
- shrink wrapped sufficiently
