How To Connect Your Ezysend Account to FreightExchange

FreightExchange offers scalable carrier onboarding by leveraging our connections with various Transportation Management Systems (TMS). Any carrier who is already using Ezysend can get started with FreightExchange by following the steps below.

Part 1: Select Ezysend and onboard yourself to FreightExchange

  1. Go to Plugins > Systems Integration
  2. Click on +Add New.
  3. Select Ezysend as the System. You will automatically be taken to the configuration page.
  4. Add the below details per the table below
  5. Create BYO carriers with Ezysend .

FieldDescription
Display NameYour business name
Cancellation EmailEmail address which can receive the cancellation requests
Website URLYour website URL
Carrier LogoLogo for your business
Tracking FTP DetailsEnter the FTP Credentials where Ezysend carrier will send the tracking data for bookings.


Part 2: Set-up Carrier Services, Zones and Transit Times

  1. Once you have completed part 1, you will automatically be directed to Services tab; 
    1. Click Add New and fill in all the required details for your service 
    2. Repeat step 1 to set up all other services
  2. Click on the Zones tab, where you have the option to: 
    1. Upload your Zones
    2. Add Zones individually 
    3. Manage Zones - Bulk Update, Download and/or delete
  3. Click on Transit Time, where you have the option to: 
    1. Upload the Transit Times.
    2. Add Transit Times individually 
    3. Manage Transit Times - Bulk Update, Download and/or delete


Part 3: Add Your BYO Carriers

  1. Click on Settings > BYO Carriers > Add New
  2. Select the Display Name provided while setting up the TMS in part 1, from the carrier name drop down.
  3. It will populate the Form with all the fields required to confirgure your Ezysend account.
  4. Add below details following these instrucitons:

FieldDescription
Account NumberEnter your Ezysend account number.
Carrier CodeEzysend Carrier code. E.g. tfm
FTP Details
Enter the FTP credentials where FreightExchange will transfer the manifest data of the consignments.
