How to Get Your Shipping API

The FreightExchange API provides a powerful and flexible way to integrate your own systems with the FreightExchange platform. By using API keys, you can programmatically connect your website, e-commerce store, or enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to access FreightExchange's core functionalities. This allows you to streamline your shipping workflows, automate tasks, and provide a seamless experience for your customers.

With the FreightExchange API, you can:

  • Get Instant Quotes: Retrieve real-time freight quotes from multiple carriers to compare and select the best option for your needs.

  • Make Bookings: Create and manage freight bookings directly from your system.

  • Generate Labels: Automatically produce shipping labels and other necessary documents.

  • Track Shipments: Access real-time tracking information to monitor the status and movement of your shipments.

To get started, you'll need to obtain an API key from the FreightExchange team, which will authenticate your requests and provide you with secure access to the API's resources.  You can create a ticket by clicking here, and our team will generate the API key for you.
