If you have an existing account and rates with Fedex (TNT) you can easily bring your own accounts across to FreightExchange to receive quotes, print labels and book and track shipments along side our other broker carriers.

Before starting this process you must know your FedEx account number. The account must also be active. You must also be able to login to your FedEx account via the FedEx website.
Part 1: Get your Fedex API Key
- Access the FedEx developer portal.
- Access My Projects
- Click on + Create API Projects to add a new project.
- Select the option "Ships with FedEx and needs to integrate FedEx APIs into their system" and click on Next.
- Enter the details as below to create the project and click on Continue.
- Select Ship, Rate & other APIs
- Select the 6 options as highlighted below.
And click on Next.
- Configure the project, if you have global rates then don't select any Country/Territory.
- Verify the details and click on "Create".
- Upon receiving the confirmation, please click on "OKAY".
- You will need to setup the credentials in Demo, to get the approval from FedEx to Ship in Live via FE platform. Please follow the steps on the link to get the Shipping API enabled.
- Save all the details highlighted below
Part 2: Set-up your BYO Carrier Account in FreightExchange

Once all the above steps are done, you can proceed to book your shipments without your rates being loaded. If you would prefer to upload your rates, then please share the rate card with [email protected]
